What Owners Say
"The display screen sometimes does not turn on when I start the car. I then have to restart the car to the screen to work."
Anonymous, AL (2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)""Display screen is randomly blank when starting the car. Sometimes it comes on after a while, other times it does not return until restarting. Also, the auto-brightness function does not always work.""
Anonymous, NC (2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring Unsure)
""Frequently fails to connect or start up properly or in a timely manner. Dealer has offered a firmware update, but with a disclaimer that sometimes in the middle of these updates, something can go "sideways' resulting in a bricked infotainment system. If that happens, because I am no longer under warranty, I would be responsible for replacing that system even though it would be their techs installing Mazda provided software at the Mazda dealership. Even with being told this is not a common occurrence, I cannot take the financial risk, so have chosen not to have this service done. I wonder why I should ever take my car - now out of warranty - to a Mazda dealership for service if they won't back up their work should something go wrong.""
