What Owners Say
"The suspension has rotting"
Anonymous, NJ (2012 Subaru Legacy Special Edition 2.5-L 4 Cyl)""After replacing the struts, I was surprised that the mechanic didnt see issues with the tie rods. A few months later slowly turning left on the freeway would start shaking but only if 65 mph. Slow turn right didnt shake. Finally got it on the rack and mechanic said the tie rods were the problem. But after changing those out and getting an alignment, there was still an issue. Found the stabilizer bar also needed replacement. I understand the car was a rental for the first 65000 miles but the majority of the remaining miles were highway. My hope is there arent any more issues.""

"It was found last month when I had the car in for a broken wheel lug stud (cross threaded by AAA). Fixed same day."
