Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Android Auto

"Android auto will not always automatically connect, and sometimes it does not want to use iheartradio it wants to use apple play or Spotify which I do not have"

Anonymous, FL (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Apple CarPlay

"Issues connecting to CarPlay. Randomly disconnects."

Anonymous, AL (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""Apple Maps navigation,Siri through Carplay will vanish if a phone call is made or received and not function properly and once reset or re engaged hands free phone use becomes difficult third issues are hazardous especially in congested traffic or while navigating highway interchanges.""

Anonymous A., MA (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Apple CarPlay stops working often! I cannot figure out why. I called Toyota once and got help. Then it stopped working again. I have to login my passcode in order to get it to work again. I did not have to do this on my 2024 Camry and I dont want to have to do it on this car!"

Anonymous, FL (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Unable to reliability connect with Apple CarPlay desipte my wife and I having new iPhone 16s. Pairing doesn't appear to remain permanent using blue tooth. Too many steps to pair with the multimedia system. Dealership wasn't helpful."

Anonymous, NY (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    "Unpredictably will not pair"

Anonymous, WI (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Backup or other camera/sensors

""camera does not warn driver of nearby objects distracting to watch camera, and not see the external car perimeter while moving rearward""

Anonymous, FL (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XSE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
External music device interface (e.g., smart phone, MP3 player)

""Has to be rebooted often (by holding in the power button for 10-15 seconds) so that the car will pair with and iPhone and/or play the radio. It took a while to find the solution online, so now its just an annoyance, but it is certainly something unexpected on a brand new car.""

Anonymous, KY (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""This doesn't pair with non-apple systems. I can't pair it with a CD player, for example.""

Anonymous, RI (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    In-dash navigation system (GPS)

"We couldn't use the built-in navigation system (gps) in the beginning. After Androin Auto was enabled by the dealer, we were able to use our cell phones' GPS."

Anonymous A., NJ (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid Unsure 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""Use of Waze, google maps, and Camry navigation is a guessing game. Voice control works if you have a phone. GPS in the car is useless with no phone. Multiple phones and drivers is chaos. When driving in Miami, my Wash DC parameters show up on GPS. That is outrageous.""

Anonymous, FL (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XSE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Toyota is asking customers to pay a fee for using GPS and some other features. Some of this sounds like extortion. GPS is free to use by anyone on earth."

Anonymous A., NJ (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid Unsure 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Other in-car electronics problem

""have to push touch screen multiple times, sometimes up to 5""

Anonymous, MN (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Driver preferences are VERY difficult to navigate. What is the difference, e.g., between "cruise control mode" and "adaptive cruise control" and how does one set this on the fly?? Right now I have an message saying "your account has expired." If I hit "OK" it asks for my 6-digit code. I have never applied for any optional accounts on this car, nor have I set a code. Message comes up every time I start the car. This is only marginally better than the 'Experience Driver Connect" messager-promo I get every time I start the car."

Anonymous, WI (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

"Approximately once per week my phone does not connect to the car. The only way I have found to fix this is to 'forget' the phone and the car on the respective devices and then re-pair. I wouldn't call it a serious problem, but it is annoying and frustrating."

Anonymous, NY (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Whenever there is local wifi you have to manually pair it. Every once in a while it times out."

Anonymous, NC (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"The car fails frequently to pair with my Samsung 23S device, especially when using Android Auto."

Anonymous, DE (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"phone wouldn't stay connected, and I had to go w/o it for quite a while, others even hooked it up to the android directly and that still makes me load it back in sometimes."

Anonymous, NH (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Sometimes not able to command phone"

Anonymous, TX (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"I have a VPN on my phone. I need to disconnect it to use it in the car. This is a bit concerning. When I do shut it off, and start the car, the car system will make the VPN reconnect so I can not use the Bluetooth system."

Anonymous, FL (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Radio

"radio does not turn every now and then. i tun off the car to reset"

Anonymous, HI (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid Unsure 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""Radio favorites drop out. Basic radio functions such as changing the station are buried in the menu, time consuming & must concentrate to find. This is DANGEROUS! Screen dimming has only 4 sets. Older cars have infinte. Icons on radio are too bright at night. Letters and numbers on the large screen are too small. Icons are worthless. Making screen dim enough and clock becomes invisible. button to dim screen is below a 'shelf' so i have to tip my head to see it and button is close to trunk & fuel tank open buttons. Dangerous. Black window open close buttons have no markings so can't see them even in daytime. Car has AWD but the all season tires it came with rated bad in snow. Trip meter resets to zero each time engine is turned off.Trunk button opens trunk when moving 3 mph & slower! Microphone usually doesn't understand me. Radio favorites mixes together, AM, FM, XM so hard to find while driving! sometimes display will not move when i slide my finger on it and it takes 2 to 5 times to push same 'button' for station to be selected. maybe more that i have forgotten but the RADIO IS DANGEROUS!""

Anonymous, NY (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""The radio will fail to work (Serius XM still works, of course) often. Recently we found out the pushing and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds will reboot the display and get the radio to work.""

Anonymous, KY (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Voice control commands

"Instruction manual is more than 900 pages long; much of it is incomprehensible. What the many controls do is not at all obvious."

Anonymous A., NJ (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid Unsure 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"The instructions for using voice control commands are unclear."

Anonymous A., NJ (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid Unsure 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"The voice commands doesn't work well hardly ever! Sometimes it tells me I'm not connected, when I am or it says it doesn't understand me or that contact can't be located."

Anonymous, NH (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    "Sometimes nonresponsive"

Anonymous, TX (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""Voice control gets it right about 1/4 of time or less. 3/4 of time it says it did not understand. I have spent entire life in U.S. Microphone is above my head, not in front of me.""

Anonymous, NY (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

"Toyota software is an abomination, as shown by the thousands of complaints online. Neither my dealer, nor the online Toyota "Brand Hub" people have been able to make the combined online, cell phone, and in-car software provide either all the functions specified in Toyota Camry Hybrid advertising, or in Toyota Camry Hybrid manuals, though all have tried valiantly. Result is inability to specify a "Home" address to use with the Toyota navigation system, or to allow both my spouse and me to use the vaunted and Toyota-required "Toyota app"."

Anonymous, KS (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""The suspension is such that I feel every little bump or dent in the road, unexpectedly bad since my 2011 Camry had been so good. Also I have no use for all the fancy driver's assistance features and they increase the cost of the vehicle and its insurance.""

Anonymous, CA (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid Unsure 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Since the day I drove off the lot the drivers side wiper doesnt work well. Everything is blurry. I went back to the dealer in the first month and they said they didnt have wipers in stock for this vehicle. They claim they took one off another new car in the lot. It performs exactly the same. I finally took it to another dealer two weeks ago. The wipers were not in stock there either. They ordered them and I am still waiting. It is rainy season and it makes it very nerve racking to drive."

Anonymous, MI (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    "Metal door protection needed adjustment"

Anonymous A., (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"The best gas mileage Ive ever gotten with this car either on the highway around town or mixed is 44 miles per gallon. Im a smart and careful and attentive driver and its always in the ECO mode. Very disappointed that I cant get what Toyota claims I should be getting."

Anonymous A., NJ (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""9 days of being parked in garage, 12 volt battery was dead. No, did not leave anything on ( headlights, dome lights, etc).""

    What Owners Say

    Other noises & leaks problem

"From the beginning of ownership, when moonroof is fully open and car is cruising steadily between 28-32mph a noticeable vibration with sound develops. It stops when speeding up or slowing down, and does not happen if moonroof is closed a few inches or is fully closed."

Anonymous, CA (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Squeaks or rattles

"Rattling sound in front ceiling area. Just started in last 100 miles, haven't taken back to dealer yet."

Anonymous, MO (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Headliner rattled when car was driven on rough roads. Fixed under warranty - car in shop overnight."

Anonymous, AZ (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""I bought this car new off the delivery truck, and within 30 days there has been rattles pop up in the dash area and other areas that I cannot specifically pinpoint where they are coming from...and like gremlins, they move every time you think you've got it figured out. Annoying, on such a nice car.""

Anonymous, NE (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"This 2025 Camry XLE has had rattles from day one when I purchased it. it is either the retractable sky roof or the center console I rest my arm on. Sometime I think I hear a rattle in the dashboard. All are pretty hard to specifically diagnose because they only happen, obviously, while driving and I can't pinpoint it specifically and pay attention to driving as well."

Anonymous, NE (2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"When it is cold outside the backseat rattles like crazy. Once the car warms up, the noise goes away."
