The reviewer found that the nodes pressed into their neck in an uncomfortable way, but two others who tried it loved it, so you might find the massager is just right or not right at all (but don’t worry—there’s a 30-day return window on Amazon). However, when it came to heat, this massager really shone. It reaches temperatures of 109° F. You can use this massager on various body parts, and it even comes with a car adapter, making it a boon for road trips.

A stand mixer like the KitchenAid Artisan Series KSM195PSBK is a prized possession on many bakers’ countertops, and this price makes it easier to add it to yours. This stand mixer earns an excellent score for whipping time in whipped-cream tests, and an excellent score in our mixing tests, where we observe how much a mixer labors when mixing thick chocolate-chip cookie dough. It comes with a stainless steel bowl with a handle, a whisk, and a dough hook. This model can also run attachments like a pasta maker or spiralizer, bought separately.

The CR Recommended NutriBullet Ultra NB50500 personal blender could be a good choice for those who want to make smoothies to go. It comes with a 32-ounce cup, a 24-ounce cup, a 24-ounce handled cup, and two to-go lids. Plus, it’s dishwasher-safe. This blender earns excellent scores in our tests for making icy drinks and purees, and for its durability.

This may be the best price we’ve seen all year on the CR Recommended, single-serve Nespresso Creatista Plus, but it still costs a pretty penny. In our tests, this coffee maker delivered each cup of coffee quickly and consistently. In addition to its pod coffee convenience, it comes with a milk frother for drinks like lattés and cappuccinos. Nespresso is a top-scoring brand for owner satisfaction in CR’s member surveys, which reflect how likely owners are to recommend their coffee maker to friends and family.

The CR Recommended Instant Vortex Plus 140-3089-01 air fryer earns an excellent score in our evaluation of its controls and receives very good scores for ease of cleaning and noise. We measured its capacity to be 5.2 quarts, meaning it can hold enough to feed a family. It has pre-programmed settings, a cooking window and light, plus an “odor erase” feature that could be handy if you plan to air fry onion rings or other potentially smelly foods. The early Black Friday deal matches the best price we’ve seen all year.

The Zojirushi NP-GBC05 Induction Heating System rice cooker may be pricey, but in CR’s tests, it receives an excellent score for convenience and a very good score for its controls. It also receives a very good score for how well it cooks one cup and three cups of rice. This rice cooker is the only one in our ratings that employs an induction heating system that turns the pot itself into a heating element, surrounding the rice with heat instead of relying on heat radiating from the bottom like most other rice cookers.

The Our Place Always Pan 2.0 is one of the top-rated nonstick frying pans in CR’s tests. We find that it cooks evenly, and its handle is sturdy and is cool enough to the touch that you won’t need a potholder every time you reach for it. Its nonstick food release is very good, and it earns a very good score in our nonstick durability test. (In this test, we intentionally scrub the nonstick surface with 2,000 strokes of steel wool and evaluate the outcome by frying eggs on the abraded surface.) This pan is induction-compatible, the manufacturer says it’s oven safe to 450° F, and it’s on sale for about 25 percent off for Black Friday. 

With more than 120 years in the business, Lodge knows a thing or two about cast iron. As a result, the CR Recommended Lodge Essential Enamel Cast Iron Dutch oven turns out bread that’s nicely browned and crispy, earning a very good rating in our bread-baking test, and it’s oven safe up to 500°F. Cooking evenness and speed of heating are also very good, cleanup is a breeze, and it’s dishwasher safe. This Dutch oven weighs 13 pounds and has a 7-inch cooking surface diameter. 

For such a budget-friendly option, it may initially come as a surprise that the Blue Diamond Classic Diamond-Infused Ceramic set is among the best-performing nonstick cookware sets in CR’s ratings. It excels in most of our tests, including nonstick food release, cooking evenness, and speed of heating. It also shows very good performance for nonstick durability. Like many lower-priced cookware sets and frying pans, this set did less well in our handle sturdiness tests, in which we apply pressure to the handle until it bends, loosens, or breaks. At its original price of $109.99, this set earned CR’s Smart Buy designation, so at its sale price, it’s an even smarter buy.

You can expect even heating and a steady sauce simmer from the nonstick Cuisinart GreenGourmet Hard Anodized GG-12 set, which received excellent scores in our tests for those tasks. We also found it a breeze to slide eggs out of this pan one after another with no oil at all. Even after scouring these pans for our nonstick durability tests to simulate years of use, nonstick properties still show good performance. You can also expect handles to stay sturdily attached, a quality not always found in inexpensive cookware. One possible downside: It’s only oven-safe up to 400° F. We’ve seen better deals in the last year, but it’s still a great one if you’re looking to buy a CR Recommended nonstick set now.

You can consistently expect quick and easy cleanup with the GreenPan Bobby Flay Chef Series Hard Anodized 10-Piece set. That’s because this pan excelled in our lab tests for nonstick food release and nonstick durability. It also aced our cooking evenness and sauce simmer tests. Where this set falls short is in handle sturdiness, meaning its handles are less likely to stand the test of time compared with sets that score higher for this measure. This set, which has been available for about a year, is currently at the best price we’ve ever seen.

Stainless steel cookware can be a trusty and safer alternative to cookware made with PTFE and other PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, aka forever chemicals), and the Cuisinart Contour 13-piece cookware set is one example of a stainless set that cleans up easily, earning an excellent score in our ease of cleaning tests. It also earns excellent scores for speed of heating and cooking evenness. Another handy feature are the etched measurement markings on the inside of the pots. Priced at more than $100 off its original price makes this quite a deal.

For all of the popularity of Apple’s AirPods, this is a rather unusual model, and so is the insanely low price at Amazon (and Walmart). Lacking the padded ear tips that plug your ear canals, it doesn’t offer much passive noise cancellation, but it does have reasonably effective noise-canceling tech. And so, you can elect to turn the noise-canceling feature off and hear what’s going on around you, which can be great when you’re on a run or walking on a busy street. In terms of sound and fit, the buds are very similar to the regular AirPods 4.

If you’re looking for high-value noise-canceling headphones, the Sennheiser Accentum Plus is a very solid option. They’re amiable companions, with robust bass, neutral midrange, and that sense of lively openness that makes really good headphones fun to listen to. They’re pleasantly light in weight, and the fit and stability are good for most of our testers, though those with large heads and/or prominent ears may want to double-check the fit. At their street price of $249, they’re not a bad value. Take $100 off that, and you’re getting impressive quality at a very nice price.

If you want earbuds, but don’t like the feel of plugging up your ears, the Bose Ultra Opens are a unique option. However, they were recently $200 at Amazon, so you may want to wait until Black Friday to see if the price dips back down again, which it might. They hook on your ear, just above the lobe, kind of like a cuff-style earring. They sound surprisingly good, too, once you get the placement just right. And it’s totally easy to hear things around you with a clarity that the "transparency" mode of most earbuds can’t match.

The Galaxy Buds FE pair nicely with Samsung Galaxy phones, with phone-specific features like live translation. Their noise cancellation works effectively, and the sound quality is well above average. Our testers also find that, with wingtips that help the earbuds stay in place, the Galaxy Buds FE fit users with a variety of head and ear sizes. And at just over $50 on sale, they represent a good value.

If you’re a fan of the Google Pixel phone, then the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a solid choice for a complementary earbud. They have a Find My Device function, and the sound can be adjusted through the Pixel app. The Pixel Buds 2 earn very good sound quality grades and score well for noise cancellation. This price is $10 less than during Amazon’s big fall sale, making it an excellent time to buy.

The TCL 75QM6K is $100 less than the best price we’ve seen in the past few months, so this is a great time to buy. This TV is part of TCL’s entry-level QM series of 2025 TVs that use Mini LED backlights, and it offers very good overall picture quality but only so-so HDR performance. It has a fairly wide viewing angle for an LCD/LED-based set. Like other QM-series models for 2025, it utilizes the Google TV smart platform with Google Assistant built in. Though it has a Mini LED backlight with local dimming, it has fewer dimmable zones than the step-up QM-series models.

The Hisense 75U8QG just dropped $100 compared to last week, marking a $300 price drop since the beginning of November. This is a higher-end 2025 4K ULED set, positioned just below the flagship Hisense U9QG model. It performed very well in our picture quality tests and offers great high dynamic range performance. (It supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats.) It has lots of features, including a Mini LED backlight with local dimming, a 165Hz native refresh rate, and support for Dolby Atmos audio. The 4.1.2-channel speaker system delivers great sound. The set uses the Google TV smart system, with built-in Google Assistant.

Part of Samsung’s 2025 Frame Pro series, the Samsung QN55LS03F is a 55-inch QLED TV equipped with a full-array LED backlight and local dimming. It has satisfying picture quality, but it wasn’t quite as good for HDR. Like other Frame models, designed to display artwork and photos from Samsung’s art store when you’re not watching TV, it features a picture frame-like design, a matte screen for a print-like appearance, and minimal reflections. It comes with a slim wall mount that allows the TV to be placed flush against the wall. The price is now approximately $100 cheaper than it was last week.

This 55-inch 4K Amazon Fire TV, part of the company’s step-up Omni series, performs well in terms of overall picture quality, although it falls short in terms of HDR performance. (It supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats.) Like the other Amazon Omni set above, its main drawbacks are limited peak brightness and the absence of a local dimming feature to enhance blacks and contrast. The price recently dropped by about $60.

Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop is a sleek, ultra-portable powerhouse built for AI. It features a vibrant 13.8-inch touchscreen and the brand-new Snapdragon X Plus chip, which brings excellent battery life. This is an excellent price for a laptop with the cutting-edge chip, and it’s $200 less than it was earlier this month.

The Asus Vivobook 16, now $50 less than last week, isn’t flashy, but it covers the basics really well, especially at this price. It earns top marks for portability and ergonomics, making it a great pick for students or remote workers who value comfort and a lightweight build. Performance and display are average, but with a roomy 16-inch screen and solid all-around versatility, it’s a strong value at this price.

The latest MacBook Air with M4 chip continues Apple’s streak of making truly compelling laptops. While we tested the 15-inch model, we expect the 13-inch version to deliver the same top-tier performance and all-day battery life. It’s an ideal choice for travelers or students who need power in a significantly smaller package. You might miss having the extra screen real estate of its big brother, but the speed of the M4 chip and the sharp Retina display make this a standout deal all the same.

This previous-generation Pixel Watch 3 has an elegant design, robust health features, and seamless compatibility with the Pixel phone and Google ecosystem. CR’s testers also found the performance of the watch’s heart-rate monitoring and step tracking to be excellent.

Amazon sold this watch for $179.99 during Prime Big Deal Days, so you may be able to save more on Black Friday.

The Fitbit Charge line routinely features great general-purpose trackers, and the Charge 6 is no exception. It offers a 1.1-inch full-color display and a range of tools that help you stay on top of your health, everything from stress monitoring to an ECG (electrocardiogram) function that can alert you to irregular heart rhythms. It’s currently at the best price we’ve seen all year.

The Versa 4, down to its best price, is a great fit for Fitbit fans who want a sleeker-looking smartwatch. You get a good-sized display and all the basics, from GPS-enabled workout tracking to heart rate monitoring. Plus, the battery lasted a generous seven days in CR’s testing.

The Amazon Fire TV Cube is at the lowest price we’ve ever seen, beating the previous low by $10. It’s a mashup of an Amazon Echo and a 4K Fire TV streamer. Its universal remote control capabilities let you control a host of other compatible A/V gear, including TVs, soundbars, receivers, and even some cable and satellite boxes. New features include HDMI 2.1 connections—one input and one output—for controlling other devices using your voice. (One cool trick is that the Cube will also upscale any content from a source connected to its HDMI input.) Other features include support for WiFi 6E, support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR, and an Off button that disconnects the microphones if you don’t want the device in an always-listening mode.

Among the improvements in the updated Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is a faster processor, which the company says makes it nearly 30 percent more powerful than its predecessor. The model also features WiFi 6 wireless technology and support for Dolby Atmos audio, as well as the HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ formats. The company says the generative AI can make searching for content easier by allowing users to ask more nuanced questions in a conversational way.

This matches the lowest price we’ve seen this year. It did reach $22 last year during the holidays, so you may be able to save a little more on Friday.

This latest stick-style streaming player from Amazon—the Fire TV Stick 4K Max—is among the company’s fastest, thanks to a more powerful processor; apps launch quicker than on earlier models. The player works on the WiFi 6 wireless standard and includes support for both the Dolby Vision and HDR10+ formats, as well as Dolby Atmos audio.

Google is phasing out its older—cheaper—Chromecast streaming devices and replacing them with this new model. The Google TV Streamer (4K) features a sleeker design, a faster processor, and support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats, as well as Dolby Atmos audio. The Anker Nano is particularly pint-sized, at just 3.6 ounces. It receives solid marks for charging speed, both when it’s charging a device and when it’s being recharged at the wall. And it has two USB-C ports, including a foldable male USB-C port you can plug directly into your phone—no connecting cable needed. The Anker Nano only has enough capacity to fully charge an average smartphone from zero battery about once or to top it off a few times—so this wouldn’t be the charger to take on a days-long trip. But it does have handy LED lights that show you its battery status, so you know when it’s time to plug it back into an outlet.

This third-party iPad stylus writes silky smooth, whether you’re scribbling notes in class or creating advanced digital art. CR’s own pro illustrator Sharon Seidl says it feels like a “real pen writing on real paper” and rivals the pricier Apple Pencil models in performance. This model works with all iPad models after 2018.

The Arlo Video Doorbell 2K is one of the best video doorbells you can buy. It provides the flexibility to install it wherever you need it. Cloud video storage and additional features (such as alerts for people, packages, animals, and vehicles) require an Arlo Secure subscription.

This is the best price we’ve ever seen for this model by $10.

Interested in a smart lock but don’t like hubs and dongles? The August WiFi Smart Lock connects directly to WiFi, no hub needed. It’s also a retrofit model, meaning it replaces only the interior side of your deadbolt so you can keep your existing keys. It performs quite well in our tests, including those for ease of remote access and convenience. Features include auto-locking and unlocking, access logs, electronic keys, and a door sensor. 

The Blink Wired Floodlight Cam is back down to the sale price we tend to see for major savings events, which it has seemed to drop to almost without fail over the last few years. In our tests, it receives superb scores for video quality and response time, as well as a very good score for data security. It falls in the middle of the pack in terms of its smart features, and its data privacy guarantees are weak (a common issue across brands in this space). Its features include a siren, activity zones, voice/app control via Amazon Alexa, and up to 5 minutes of continuous live streaming. You can store footage locally without a subscription if you purchase a Blink Sync Module 2, $50, and plug in a USB flash drive. Cloud video storage and other features (such as person detection) require a Blink Subscription Plan.

When it comes to cleaning, the Dyson 360 vis nav is hard to beat. It’s stellar at capturing debris and dust from carpets, a task that many robot vacuums struggle with. It has strong suction power and is less likely to scatter trash around while cleaning than other bots we tested. It has a quick charging time of under 2 hours. The Dyson 360 vis nav is typically priced around $1,000, so now’s a great time to snag this vacuum while it’s still more than 50 percent off.

Currently the highest-scoring robot vacuum in our ratings, the iRobot Roomba Max 705 checks a lot of boxes. It’s a strong cleaner and is especially good at suctioning up pet hair. The vacuum is adept at navigating through the spaces you want it to clean and is relatively quiet, so you’ll barely notice it. 

One of the best features of the Eufy C10 T2292 is its slim design, which enables it to access hard-to-reach areas under desks, beds, and other low-profile furniture. It’s quiet, good at picking up debris from bare, uncarpeted floors, and has brush rolls that are easy to remove and clean. Competitively priced from the start, this discount makes it even more affordable. 

The Tineco Floor One S7 Pro Smart Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner just dropped $50 compared to last week, marking the deepest discount we’ve ever seen. It shines at cleaning up wet messes, such as cereal and milk, and does a solid job of removing dried-on food stains as well. Its battery life is longer than that of many of its competitors, and we like how convenient its self-cleaning features are.

The GorFanty 10-in-1 MultiPurpose, which more commonly retails for $100, is an excellent cleaner with a decent steam rate. It takes only 20 seconds for the steam mop to produce steam, and its steam can last for around 10 minutes on its maximum setting. We like that you can adjust the length of the mop to accommodate people of different heights. The mop comes with plenty of accessories, including attachments for cleaning tile grout, clothes, furniture, windows, and carpets.

Coop’s Original Pillow is one of the best in CR’s ratings, excelling in CR’s tests for side and back support and resilience, and earning a very good rating for breathability. The other Coop pillow we tested, the Cool+ Adjustable Classic, does well too, giving you another option to explore if you have different style sleepers in your household. Coop’s sheets also earn CR’s recommendation.

This 2-inch memory-foam topper provides great support while still allowing you to sink into it. And at 8 pounds, it’s not overly heavy to maneuver. It’s flippable, but this deal doesn’t come with a cover (though you can add one on yourself), and a lack of corner straps means it might shift around.

Side and back sleepers may find the GhostBed pillow, featuring a breathable and washable cover, quite dreamy. Sold as a set of two, it features shredded memory foam and polyester gel fibers that can be removed or added to achieve your ideal level of support. Though it earns only average marks for resilience, it excels in breathability—and this two-pack is a bargain on Amazon compared with other retailers where you’ll pay over $100.

Lab tests find that this topper from Casper doesn’t allow users to sink in as deeply as other mattresses. This topper feels like an actual mattress, adding a touch of medium softness where needed without allowing the body to sink in too much. The two-layer cushion combines a layer of softer foam over a firmer base layer of foam. At a little under 16 pounds, it’s easy to move around, and its machine-washable zip-off cover, made of polyester, cotton, rayon, and spandex, makes it easy to clean. However, this topper can not be flipped. Casper offers a 30-night risk-free trial, and its toppers are backed by a five-year limited mattress topper warranty.

The low-priced, ultrasonic Levoit Classic 300S can humidify a room of up to 505 square feet, which earns it a solid rating in our output test. It aces other evaluations too. It has a variety of features including automatic shut-off, a digital humidity display that’s more accurate than those of most competitors, and the option to diffuse aromas. And the best part? It’s back down to its best price.

The Conair GS59X does a good job evening out rumples in thin cotton dress shirts, but like most handheld steamers, it struggles with creases. It took about 12 minutes to steam a button-up, and it couldn’t handle a more challenging linen shirt. This steamer did a satisfactory job in our evaluations across the board, including for steam power (16.62 grams per minute), heat time (1 minute), and run time (13 minutes). The tank is relatively easy to fill, and the steamer can operate vertically and horizontally.

This price dropped $9 recently, making now a great time to buy.

If you don’t mind some noise, this portable air purifier from GermGuardian is a solid option. CR testers found that it’s particularly effective at removing dust, pollen, and smoke particles from the air when operating at high speed. But the unit is pricey to maintain because the replacement filters are relatively expensive. The model features a convenient carrying handle, easy-to-use controls, and a programmable timer.

If you need a leaf blower for light-duty work, the Worx WG585 is back to the same low price we saw during Prime Big Deal Days. It can move leaves and other light debris quickly and with ease. The leaf blower itself is also light, at just over 6 pounds. If you’ve invested in other 40-volt tools from Worx, now’s a good time to add a leaf blower to your arsenal. This is the lowest price we’ve seen in at least a year. 

The Ego CS1611 is a battery-powered chainsaw that performed well in our tests, excelling in terms of ease of use, handling, and safety, and earning a very good score for cutting. It features a 16-inch bar, includes a 2.5-amp-hour battery and charger, and comes with a five-year warranty. The price at Amazon is now about $10 to $15 less than at other retailers, as of last week.
