Data security: This model has very good security. It has many of the important protections for your recordings and personal data.
Data privacy: TP-Link offers a sub-standard level of control and transparency over your data. They are not doing as good a job as many others are with regard to collecting only necessary data, giving you control over its use, and limiting how your data is shared or sold.
Response time: This model sends its alerts to its app within 2 seconds on average, which is very quick, and helps you be very responsive to situations.
Smart features: It works with smart-home systems such as Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Apple Siri, Google Assistant, Google Home. You'll need to install the Tapo app on your smartphone. TP-Link claims this model has recognition algorithms that can detect people, sounds, vehicles, and animals, as well as a moving object crossing a boundary. TP-Link may offer additional features that require a subscription and/or a firmware update.
